We have an opening for a Powerwash Apprentice in our Polymer plant.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the manufacture of Polymer products through safe material receiving and handling
- Ensures quality and cost effective packaging of products (drumming-pumping)
- Cleaning of equipment (powerwashing, other methods)
- Proper handling and disposal of waste to meet customer requirements
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
- Industrial experience is strongly preferred
- Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Union membership required after 30 days of employment
Shift
2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Occasional overtime may be required.
Pay
$25.79 per hour plus shift differential of $1.75 per hour for 2nd shift.
Training hours worked on 1st shift will not include shift differential.
