Cedarville University is seeking to hire an experienced HVAC Technician. Duties include preventive maintenance and repair of a wide range of heating, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration equipment. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Facility Maintenance.
Position Requirements:
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- At least three years experience in a commercial HVAC environment
- Experience with tools and equipment common in the industry
- Posses a valid Ohio driver’s license
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift or carry objects up to 100 pounds on occasion with routine lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate drills, saws and other power tools
- Ability to bend, climb and crawl into small spaces.
- This position is routinely exposed to heat, cold, moisture, noise and light chemical substances related to duties.
- This position serves on an on-call rotation for emergency services.
