RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48-hour shifts with schedule subject to change during interview process
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4/5 for days, nights, and weekends in team nursing environment
\n• Weekend coverage required as needed
\n• On-call responsibilities as needed
\n• Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles when necessary
\n• Work in 48-bed cardiac stepdown unit with daily census of 32 patients
\n• Provide care for patients requiring continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring
\n• Handle patients with cardiac, pulmonary, and other disease processes requiring close observation
\n• Care for patients needing more than regular med/surg level care but less than intensive care
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring and IV starts
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required (3+ years preferred)
\n• Level I Trauma experience required
\n• Travel experience required with at least 1 completed previous travel assignment
\n• Large hospital experience required
\n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years fall during assignment
\n• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
\n• Cerner experience preferred
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
\n• Active RN license in state or compact license required

The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services, ensuring comprehensive patient care and high-quality outcomes.
