Full-Time School Social Worker (SSW) – Elementary (K–5)

Location: Aurora, CO | School Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Dates: ASAP – May 22, 2026

Salary Range: $68,500–$80,000

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to support an elementary (K–5) building in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position is available for an immediate start and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year, with the potential for renewal if it’s a great fit!

This School Social Worker will support students in a K–5 Affective Needs (AN) program, working primarily with students who present with higher behavioral and social-emotional needs. This position is in one building. You will play a key role in helping students build coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and positive behavioral supports to succeed in the school environment.

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to K–5 students in an Affective Needs program

• Implement individualized and group interventions

• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and administrators

• Support behavior plans and crisis intervention as needed

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development

• Maintain appropriate documentation and compliance requirements

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Work certification required

• Master's Degree in Social Work

• Experience working with students with higher behavioral needs preferred

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
