Full-Time School Social Worker (SSW) – Elementary (K–5)
Location: Aurora, CO | School Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Dates: ASAP – May 22, 2026
Salary Range: $68,500–$80,000
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to support an elementary (K–5) building in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position is available for an immediate start and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year, with the potential for renewal if it’s a great fit!
About the RoleThis School Social Worker will support students in a K–5 Affective Needs (AN) program, working primarily with students who present with higher behavioral and social-emotional needs. This position is in one building. You will play a key role in helping students build coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and positive behavioral supports to succeed in the school environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to K–5 students in an Affective Needs program
Implement individualized and group interventions
Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and administrators
Support behavior plans and crisis intervention as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
Maintain appropriate documentation and compliance requirements
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Work certification required
Master's Degree in Social Work
Experience working with students with higher behavioral needs preferred
