Job Description
What a day looks like

You start your morning reviewing the day’s work orders, loading your company vehicle with parts you’ve kept inventoried, and heading to a customer site. On arrival, you install and connect commercial washers and dryers to their utilities, bring the system online, and verify safe, proper operation. If a unit needs repair or adjustment, you diagnose the issue, replace parts, and confirm performance meets Alliance Laundry Systems standards. Before leaving, you brief the customer on findings, recommended actions, and best practices, making sure they’re confident using their new equipment.

What you’ll do
  • Install, start up, and validate operation of commercial laundry equipment in the field while following company standards, techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Travel in a company vehicle to customer locations for on-site work, including utility connections and commissioning.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; test, repair, and verify performance and safety.
  • Provide clear guidance to clients after installation and testing, including instructions and recommendations.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Service Manager and contribute ideas to improve processes and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory on the assigned company vehicle and submit timely, accurate expense reports.
  • Support additional tasks as needed to keep department operations running smoothly.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair (preferred). Equivalent education/training/experience considered.
  • Working knowledge of single‑phase electric power equipment (required).
  • Experience supporting customers via phone/email or a ticketing/dispatch system (preferred).
  • Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (preferred).
Skills that set you up for success
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented; able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines independently.
  • Clear, professional communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal—across all levels.
  • Resilient self‑starter who is proactive, adaptable, and persistent.
Travel

Expect to be out of town 2–3 nights per week. Hotel lodging and per diem are provided.

Physical and standard requirements
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and fine manual work.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently; assistive devices available for heavier items.
  • Regularly talk, hear, and use hands to handle tools and controls.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record required. A company vehicle may be provided.
What’s in it for you
  • Company vehicle while working/delivering equipment.
  • Medical, vision, and dental benefits beginning on day one.
  • 401(k) with up to 6% company match.
  • 3 weeks (120 hours) of vacation plus 11 paid holidays.
How we show up
  • Dedicated: We follow through—our say/do ratio matters.
  • Respectful: We act with integrity and value diverse perspectives.
  • Innovative: We seek better ways and lead change.
  • Versatile: We move quickly and adapt with agility.
  • Engaged: We think like owners and build solutions that fit the market.

Join us and turn empty rooms into fully operational laundry centers—safely, reliably, and to Alliance Laundry Systems quality standards, policies, and procedures.
