Job Description
ACLC is looking for an experienced Implementation Process and Tool Analyst with specialized expertise supporting the iSMART process and associated software tool sets used by DoD acquisition programs. The analyst will provide technical assistance, database management, and update system implementation data to ensure interoperability and accurate documentation of TDL platforms and systems.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and help-desk support to users of the iSMART process and government-designated software tool, answering questions and resolving user issues.
- Update and maintain toolset reference data to reflect current MIL-STD baselines by incorporating Joint Multi-TDL Configuration Control Board (JMTCCB) approved MIL-STD Interface Change Proposals (ICPs)
- Ensure platform and system implementation data is accurately documented to support interoperability analysis and acquisition decision-making.
- Research, gather, and analyze technical information to develop background papers, staff studies, talking papers, and presentation materials
- Assist acquisition programs in identifying and resolving interoperability disconnects during planning and operational phases.
- Collaborate with program offices and stakeholders to support the effective use of iSMART tools and processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, or information technology.
- Database Experience: Minimum of two (2) years working with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent relational database management systems.
- Certification: Possession of a current Security+ certification.
- iSMART Tool Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience with the iSMART process and toolsets.
- TDL Network and Military Standards Experience: At least one (1) year of experience with Tactical Data Link networks and familiarity with applicable MIL-STDs (3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001).
- Strong analytical, technical, and documentation skills to support technical briefs, staff studies, and reporting.
Security Clearance: Applicant must be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.
Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Lifting to 40 lbs.
