Seeking a male who can be a positive role model and support for children or teenagers struggling with anxiety, ADHD, or other Mental Health or behavior related challenges.
Ability to work within the time frame of Monday-Friday after 3:30pm, and occasional weekends
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/teenagers and shaping behaviors to improve the quality of life for the child and family.
Duties:
- Provide guidance, support, and strategies to address the child and family's needs.
- Follow and implement an individualized plan to address goals for the child and family.
- Foster positive relationship with child to promote growth and development.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the well-being of the child.
Skills:
- Experience in behavior strategies, childcare, special education, or related fields.
- Strong mentoring and educational skills.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and behavioral health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Schedule:
compensation rate $25-$40 an hour, based on experience, education and skill level.
Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma, BA is a plus.
