Armed Protection Agent / Oxnard

We’re looking for a professional Armed Protection Agent to join our team at a cannabis storefront. This role involves safeguarding the premises, assets, and employees while preventing any illegal or inappropriate activity. The ideal candidate has strong public safety and security experience, operates with integrity, and brings extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities include patrolling the premises with high visibility, checking in guests via a POS system, monitoring entrances and exits, removing trespassers when needed, and serving as a visible deterrent outside. You’ll respond to suspicious activity reports, document hourly updates and incidents, and maintain a safe environment by staying proactive both inside and outside the facility.

Qualifications preferred are at least five years’ experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role within the cannabis industry, valid security officer registration, guard card, and firearm permit. You must have all necessary security equipment, a strong understanding of safety procedures, excellent writing and reporting skills, the ability to operate surveillance systems, high integrity, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The projected schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with an open availability requirement. Weekly pay is offered.
