JOB SUMMARY, DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Job Summary
The student worker(s), under the supervision of Graphic Communication faculty and the Associate Dean, will design and print brochures to promote the opportunity for NTC students and area workers to earn SACA industry credentials at NTC.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully with or without reasonable accommodation.
Design and Layout:
Collaborate with the Associate Dean, Graphic Communication faculty, and Smart Manufacturing Program Director
Design and develop the layout of a brochure for both print and electronic distribution
Create marketing materials that promote Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) industry certifications
Support outreach efforts to students and regional workforce audiences
Printing:
Print a specified quantity of brochures in the NTC Graphic Communication lab
Electronic Distribution:
Ensure the flyer design and layout meet standards for electronic distribution
Deliver completed electronic files to the Associate Dean, Graphic Communication faculty, and Smart Manufacturing Program Director
Minimum Qualifications Required
In limited circumstances, NTC may consider a combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position.
Education: High School Education / GED
Must be an active student in the NTC Graphic Communication program.
Experience: <1 Year
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, emails and memos; discuss information one-on-one and in small groups.

Ability to manage and track document changes; create, modify and format templates and files; ability to use multiple computer screens and multitask in several computer applications.
