Job Title: Railcar Loader Fertilizer Operations
Location: Mulberry / Bone Valley, FL (Mosaic Site) Pay: $20.00 per hour Shift: Two-Step Swing Shift (Days/Nights Rotation)
Who We Are
Road & Rail Services is the premier provider of logistics for the phosphate and fertilizer industry. We are looking for technical, safety-minded individuals to join our dedicated team servicing the Mosaic facility in Bone Valley.
"They have a great training program and they really value military experience. It's a place where you can learn a specialized skill that you can't get anywhere else." - Verified Railcar Loader, Road & Rail Services
The Role
This isn't a "general labor" job. You will be responsible for the final stage of the production cycle: loading finished fertilizer products into railcars. This role requires precision, comfort with heights, and the ability to operate specialized rail equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Loading: Work on elevated platforms (above railcars) to monitor the distribution, weight, and flow of finished fertilizer product.
• Quality Control: Act as the final eyes on the product, monitoring for contamination and ensuring every car meets shipping standards.
• Remote Locomotive Operation: Use remote-control technology (Trackmobile/Beltpack) to move the train string forward and position cars for loading.
• Safety at Elevation: Strictly follow fall-protection protocols while working on loading racks and platforms.
What You Bring to the Table
• Comfort with Heights: You will be working on elevated platforms and climbing ladders throughout the shift.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience with remote-control machinery or heavy equipment is a major plus.
• Reliability for the "Swing": Ability to work a two-step swing shift (rotating between days and nights).
• Attention to Detail: You take pride in "clean" loads and accurate weight distribution.
Why Join the Bone Valley Team?
• Local Stability: Servicing the primary fertilizer contract in the region-this work isn't going anywhere.
• Advanced Training: We will train you on remote locomotive operations and specialized loading systems.
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with company match.
