\n TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City , KS. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

\n
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays, start 1200-1:00 AM, 10-12 hour days
\n
• Pay $29.80+ OT after 8 hours 
\n
• Route Type: Local, home daily
\n
• Tanker endorsement 
\n
• Equipment: Manual trucks - NO AUTO RESTRICTION
\n
• Handling: Touch Freight
\n

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

\n
• Must possess a valid Class A license
\n
• Must be 21 years of age.
\n
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
\n
• WILL TAKE NEW GRADUATES 
\n
• MUST HAVE TANKER / NO AUTOMATIC RESTRICTIONS 
\n
• Must be able to handle outside elements.
\n
• Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
\n

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

\n
• Driver is responsible for operation of a truck to collect fabrication material from various locations.
\n
• Must be able to handle outside elements, summer heat and winter cold.
\n
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
\n
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
\n
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
\n
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers.
\n
• Required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
\n
• Occasionally push, pull, up to 75 lbs.
\n
