Position Overview

A community-based hospital in Clinton, North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join its Emergency Department. This role is ideal for a confident physician comfortable working as a solo provider while delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency care.

The Emergency Department averages 90–100 patient visits per day and is supported by experienced Physician Assistants, along with 24/7 hospitalist and radiology coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages

Serve as the solo physician in the Emergency Department

Collaborate with PAs and hospital support teams

Stabilize and coordinate transfers using strong air and ground transport support

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

MD degree

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

Comfortable practicing independently

No J-1 or H-1 visa sponsorship available
