Cardiovascular RN Travel Assignment – Unit Notes
Pre-Assignment Requirements\n- \n
- 4 hours of billable computer modules are required by 7:00 AM on the Friday prior to the assignment start date. \n
- Modules are delivered Monday–Tuesday of the week before the assignment. \n
- The 4 billable hours should be added to the first week's timesheet. \n
- \n
- Facility located near Springfield, Illinois. \n
- Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel Cardiovascular unit. \n
- One night shift position currently available. \n
- Illinois RN license required. \n
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required. \n
- Open-heart experience preferred. \n
- \n
- Post-PCI patients \n
- Post-coronary artery bypass (CABG) patients \n
- Congestive heart failure (CHF) patients \n
- \n
- Open-heart experience preferred \n
- Experience pulling arterial sheaths preferred \n
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience highly preferred \n
- Level II Trauma Center experience or higher preferred \n
- \n
- RNs titrate drips: Yes \n
- Hospitalist/Intensivist coverage: 24/7 (physicians and nurse practitioners) \n
- Respiratory Therapy coverage: 24/7 in the ICU/PCU \n
- Respiratory equipment available: Full respiratory support, including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment \n

- Telemetry monitor technician: Yes \n
- RNs responsible for rhythm interpretation: Yes \n
- Telemetry system: Draeger \n
