American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg-Neuro unit requiring at least 1-2 years of recent med/surg experience in a large hospital and a Level 1 trauma setting.

- Acute care Med/Surg-Neuro unit (6AB) within a Level 1 trauma hospital \n
- 32-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift \n
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required \n
- Shift rotation pattern varies by scheduling cycle, alternating between days and nights or staying consistent for several weeks at a time \n
- Uses Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps \n
- Primary unit is 6AB, with float expectations to any Med/Surg unit across all 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo \n

- Active ND or Compact RN license required \n
- BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required \n
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200+ beds) \n
- Level 1 trauma experience required \n
- Prior travel nursing experience with successful completion required \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Neuro patient experience preferred but not required \n

- Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration \n
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility \n
- Navy blue scrubs required \n
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position \n
- Candidates living 60 to 80 miles from the facility are eligible at a reduced local rate \n
- Candidates who have previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission \n
