Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Program at Bethel Elementary School in Bethel, PA for the 2025–2026 school year.

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–13) on the days and during the hours you work. Employer contributions cover the cost of care, so you can focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Bethel Elementary School in Bethel, PA
PAY: $13.50 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:35 am & 3:30 - 6:30 pm

Position Responsibilities
The Before and After School Program team is responsible for:
- Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities
- Assisting students with homework
- Providing a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment
- Serving as a positive role model for children in the program
- Arriving prepared and remaining on-site until the last child is dismissed
- Communicating daily with parents and families via the Playground App
- Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
- Supporting attendance tracking, registration, and staffing as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children under 13 preferred
- Medically cleared of communicable diseases, including TB
- Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
