The Role at a Glance

 

Hilldrup is seeking an energetic, creative, and customer-focused Marketing Intern to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing, this part-time role (15–20 hours per week) will support day-to-day marketing initiatives, including social media content creation, managing giveaway and literature orders, assisting with internal campaigns, and helping develop sales presentations and email communications.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is excited about creating short‑form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, feels comfortable interviewing employees, and enjoys capturing authentic moments both in the office and out in the field—including occasional ride‑along with our crews.

 

How You’ll Contribute

 

You will contribute by providing comprehensive support for internal and external departmental marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on digital and social media content.   

Your responsibilities will include conducting advertising market analyses across all locations to support informed strategic planning, collaborating with external vendors to maintain and update the company website, and ensuring company literature inventories are accurately monitored and replenished.

 

Qualifications and Skills

Education/Work Experience

  • Enrolled in undergraduate degree program (marketing, communications, business administration or business-related majors preferred)  

 

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and interviewing employees or team members
  • Basic video filming and editing skills using mobile devices or editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe or Canva
  • Ability to create sales presentations, email campaigns, and marketing materials
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of marketing, advertising, and market research
  • Familiarity with digital marking, social media platforms and online communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • HubSpot experience is a plus
  • Professionalism, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
