Medical Claims Processor

Job Title: Claims Processor - Local

Location: Whittier, CA 90601

Start Date: 02/23/2026

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Safeguards patient confidentiality, ensures safety, and provides age-appropriate, holistic care.
• Supports Claims Department through training, report generation, and quality audits.
• Investigates, processes, and tracks payment adjustments, refunds, and over/underpayments.
• Acts as a professional resource for providers, members, and staff, assisting with inquiries and research.
• Ensures claims compliance, prepares reports, and maintains regulatory and contractual standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 4+ years of experience
• Experience in a hospital/medical group setting.
• Knowledge of HMO/or IPA operations; medical terminology; ICD-10, RVS, and CPT coding knowledge
