Position SummaryCorrectional Healthcare Partners is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Skagit County Jail. In this role, you will provide essential mental health services to individuals in custody, supporting stabilization, treatment planning, and successful reentry into the community.
We welcome fully licensed clinicians (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) as well as associate-level clinicians working toward licensure under supervision.
ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group mental health services to incarcerated individuals
Complete mental health screenings in accordance with NCCHC standards
Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including diagnosis and treatment planning
Assess safety concerns and implement safety protocols when needed
Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with community resources
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic mental health record
Attend management meetings as requested by Skagit County Corrections leadership
Build collaborative relationships with correctional staff and county partners
Follow CHP and Skagit County policies and procedures
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution
Active Washington State licensure or associate license working toward independent licensure
Strong mental health counseling experience (correctional or community behavioral health preferred)
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with custody staff and healthcare professionals
