REPORTS TO: Slot Supervisor     

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Report to work as scheduled.   
2. Present a neat and well-groomed image to our guests and fellow crewmembers, as per company guidelines.  
3. Expected to keep abreast of all company and departmental policies and procedures. 
4. Must ensure general security of the floor and report any suspicious activity to your Floor Supervisor.
5. Must ensure security and safety of equipment and report any dangerous conditions to the Floor Supervisor.
6. Expected to handle money transactions accurately and all transactions should be done using Slot Dept. money handling techniques.
7. Generate and pay jackpot up to designated limit as stated in the Slot department’s policies and procedures.
8. Will verify accuracy of jackpots paid to guests.
9. Ensure the slot floor is always clean, tidy and inviting to our guests.  
10. Completes all required paperwork completely and accurately according to slot policy.
11. Must have a thorough knowledge of machine operation, malfunctions and codes.
12. Serve and assist guests as efficiently as possible in the event of a minor malfunction of a machine.
13. Undertake limited technical duties under supervision.
14. Ensure optimum slot machine operation and minimal machine down time by reporting any malfunction to a Supervisor.
15. Responsible and accountable for all keys issued to him/her while on duty.
16. Responsible and accountable for radio equipment issued to him/her while on duty.
17. Must not carry out major technical repairs.
18. Have a complete knowledge of all facilities that are available to guests.
19. At all times Floorpersons must be polite and pay attention to guest needs.
20. Must create a friendly, helpful and welcoming atmosphere by facial expression, tone of voice and greeting.
21. Promptly answer any calls for assistance from guests and assist them in any way possible relating to the playing of machines.
22. Will initially attend to floor disputes or complaints diplomatically and call the Supervisor or Manager.
23. Establishes close contact with good slot players and treatment policies consistent with their play.
24. Be trained and regularly tested on Title 31 regulations to enforce and monitor all activities covered by these regulations.
25. Other tasks as requested by management.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Math skills 
2. Excellent customer service skills. 

LICENSE / PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:     Must have or be able to obtain a MS Gaming Commission badge.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   

1. Stand, walk, lift, bend and reach.
2. Read, write, eye to hand coordination and depth perception.
3. Effective verbal communication.
4. Teamwork.

HAZARDS: 

1. Standing and walking almost entire shift. 
2. Exposure to second hand smoke.   
3. High noise level.
