Summary:
The Residential Services Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of women’s residential homes, ensuring high-quality service delivery, staff leadership, and compliance with all standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, 24/7 availability, and hands-on support for emergencies, including after-hours transportation to maintain house manager presence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day residential operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Assist in implementing departmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Respond to operational issues and provide timely resolution.
- Serve as acting director in the absence of the Residential Services Director when needed.
2. Staff Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise, support, and mentor residential staff.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and corrective guidance as necessary.
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage across shifts and programs.
- Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
3. Rosters & Data Management
- Develop and manage staff schedules/rosters to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Maintain and monitor timekeeping systems and attendance records.
- Oversee data collection, reporting, and documentation accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal data tracking and external reporting requirements.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
4. Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate transportation, supplies, and program materials as needed.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support planning and coordination of events, transitions, and special projects.
5. Maintenance & Facility Oversight
- Monitor residential facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Liaise with maintenance staff or external vendors to address facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
6. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.
- Assist in risk management and incident review processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
7. Additional Duties
- Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning initiatives.
- Assist with budget monitoring and expense tracking.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support residential services operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does oversee staff.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Supervisory experience in Human Services, Social Work, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential services, program management, or a related field.
- Prior supervisory experience required.

Location:
Carteret County – full time with 24/7 on-call responsibilities

- Will require evening, weekend, or on-call availability.
- Combination of office-based work and on-site residential supervision.
- Regular supervision and support provided within residential homes and program sites.
- Valid driver’s license required; reliable transportation needed for travel between residential locations, meetings, community-based responsibilities, and transportation of clients.
- Occasional lifting and physical activity may be required.
- Be available 24/7 for the needs of the women’s residential homes.
- Random checks for women residentials at minimum once a month.
- Be available to provide transportation for any clients after hours for emergency purposes to ensure there is a house manager in the women’s residential house.
