Night Shift Warehouse Loader

Hours: Sunday- Thursday 9pm-5:30am

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Loader to join our logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and safe loading, unloading, and movement of goods within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation. You will play a vital part in maintaining smooth shipping and receiving processes, supporting inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards. Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements.
• Perform order picking using pickers and ensure correct items are prepared for shipment.
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and pallet jack operation, to prevent damage and injury.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to facilitate efficient operations and safety compliance.
• Support warehouse supervisors in managing stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and mechanical knowledge requirements to ensure safe handling of heavy equipment and materials.
• Participate in loading dock activities such as load & unload operations, ensuring timely dispatches.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow processes for maximum productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles within a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, crane operation, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments.
• Prior experience in construction or materials handling is advantageous.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and repetitive movements.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management.
