Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas including ED and general care areas
• May float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• 3+ years experience required with pediatric experience mandatory
• NICU experience required for night shift positions
• Previous travel experience required
• Associates degree or certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted but must obtain RRT within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Work with V60 BIPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators, ISTAT equipment
• Document in Epic electronic health record system
• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment with assess and treat protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scents, piercings per policy
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census hours with 2-hour minimum call back pay
