Quest Camp Counselor

Assignment:
30 - 40 hours per week. All shifts will be between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
June 16, 2026 - August 19, 2026

Starting wage range:
Starting at $19.57/hr.
Rates can be found in Appendix C.
Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Primary Objective of Positions:
To plan, implement, and supervise theme-based summer day camp program for middle school children. To ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Help plan enriching curriculum and program goals for 10 one-week programs.
2. Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with class goals.
3. Manage classroom, outdoor activities, and field trips; supervise and provide guidance for participants. Participate in all planned activities.
4. Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.
5. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Qualifications:

1. B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field.
2. Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students.
3. Evidence of successful program leadership.
4. Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
5. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
6. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
