Job Summary:
The Construction Administrator is responsible for overseeing documentation and ensuring process compliance to support construction projects. This role ensures efficient operations and seamless communication among all stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success in this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage construction documents, contracts, and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and schedules.
- Track and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assist with the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Provide administrative support to construction managers and other team members.
- Address administrative issues and coordinate solutions to streamline project operations.
- Utilize applicable software for construction management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required (High School Diploma or GED required as well as relevant work experience).
- 2+ years’ experience in administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in the telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure construction industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Ability to lift and carry office supplies and documents up to 20 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling paperwork.
- Ability to move around the office to access files and office equipment.
