• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

FULL DESCRIPTION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions
• Maintain and repair conveyors, packaging equipment, refrigeration units, and other food processing machinery
• Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with food safety and OSHA standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Perform facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and parts inventory
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects

The selected candidate will also possess:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP) preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a production environment that may include cold storage and wet areas
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed

Salary Range: $32.00 to $40.00/hour
