Animal Care Center of Carters Creek is seeking a Kennel Manager to lead our kennel team and ensure our patients receive the best possible care in a safe and compassionate environment. We�re looking for a strong, compassionate leader with animal care experience and a keen eye for detail to join our team and help maintain a high standard of service for our patients.
In this role you will:
- Oversee daily kennel operations while maintaining high standards of care, cleanliness, and safety
- Lead and support kennel staff while remaining hands-on with daily animal care
- Provide boarding care for canine and feline patients, including feeding, walking, medication administration, monitoring, and kennel/cage maintenance
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate observations with the veterinary team
- Safely handle and restrain patients and assist with light technical tasks as needed
- Manage kennel supplies and support additional hospital duties as assigned
Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday working every other weekend and holiday.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- At least 1 year of kennel or animal handling experience
- Previous Kennel Management experience preferred but not required.
- Commitment to a career in veterinary medicine with ongoing training
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Strong organizational skills with a consistent focus on cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment
- Commitment to growing in the veterinary field with a willingness to continue learning and developing professionally
