Job Title: Barista Part Time-- potential for full time in near future

Hours:  Late morning- close (5:30pm store closing time- 6pm staff done), weekend availability preferred (weekend store hours 7am-3pm)

Join our team of coffee enthusiasts at MOKA, where we're passionate about crafting exceptional drinks and meaningful customer connections.  The Gundersen La Crosse location is a unique store with hospital/ clinic employees and patients/ families utilizing MOKA with many mobile orders coming to the store as well. 

We’re currently hiring Part-Time Baristas who are energetic, friendly, and love making someone’s day with a great cup of coffee and a great attitude.

Job Summary:

As a MOKA Barista, you’ll be at the heart of the action—crafting delicious beverages, engaging with customers, and keeping our shops running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, detail- orientated, and enjoy building relationships, this is the perfect role for you.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve high-quality espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages
• Customize drinks to meet customer preferences while ensuring quality and consistency
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, friendly experience for every guest
• Operate coffee equipment safely and efficiently, including espresso machines and grinders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
• Accurately handle cash and POS transactions
• Team Rockstar – Collaborate, communicate, and support your teammates. Together, you’ll keep the coffee flowing and the good vibes going!

Qualifications:

• Positive, outgoing attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous food or beverage experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you!
• Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours/week (including some weekends), with the potential for up to 35+ hours/week if desired in the future
