\n \nOpportunity:
\nRN - Step Down / Telemetry
\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour day shifts
\n • Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3/4 depending on acuity
\n • Could work up to every other weekend
\n • 24-bed step down unit with high throughput as expected in step down settings
\n • Patient population includes dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary conditions, sepsis, high flow O2 needs, and behavioral patients requiring IV drip medications
\n • Administer and monitor medication drips including dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amiodarone, dobutamine, and nicardipine
\n • Charting system: EPIC
\n • Acute care setting with Trauma Level 2 designation
\n • Cancellation policy: 3 shifts per 13-week or longer contract; 2 shifts per 12-week or shorter contract
\n • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n • BSN not required
\n • Valid nursing license required for submission

\nThis acute care facility operates a 24-bed step down unit supported by a dedicated on-unit educator who works closely with staff to ensure high-quality patient care. The facility is a Trauma Level 2 designated center equipped to handle a broad range of complex medical conditions, offering a dynamic and supportive clinical environment with access to advanced medication management and monitoring capabilities.
