Physical Therapist Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm OR Part time 32 hours per week.

A Day in the Life of a Physical Therapist:

As a Physical Therapist you will provide Clinical Consultation and Physical Therapy services for the Article 16 Clinic at The Arc Wayne.

• Provides physical therapy services per New York State Part 679 Regulations for Clinic participants as assigned.
• Completes timely and accurate service documentation as per clinic and agency policies and procedures to include; progress notes, evaluations, treatment plans, etc....
• Provides clinical consultation to Agency programs, Quality Assurance/Training, and other physical therapists as required
• May provide clinical supervision and oversight to Physical Therapy Assistants.
• May clinically support Physical Therapy Students in completing internship programs as directed
• Researches and recommends training/exercise programs, devices, assistive/adaptive equipment, and other related technology as required and shares recommendations with clinic participants, family, and support programs.

• NYS Licensed Physical Therapist
• Must possess a valid New York State Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards.
