Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for diesel vehicles and heavy equipment? Pacific Ag Carriers is looking for a Mechanical Technician – Light Diesel to help maintain and service our fleet of diesel semi-trucks and large logistical equipment. Based out of our Hermiston, Oregon shop, this full-time position plays a key role in ensuring our fleet stays reliable, safe, and on the road.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel semi-trucks, trailers, and related equipment

• Diagnose mechanical issues and efficiently perform necessary repairs

• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and service vehicle components

• Install replacement parts and assist with fleet modifications

• Keep shop tools and areas organized and stocked

• Document work completed and communicate with management on fleet needs

• Occasionally support field operations across NE Oregon and SE Washington

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus

• 1–3 months of mechanical experience, or equivalent education/training

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
  (Class A CDL with doubles endorsement preferred)

• Knowledge of diesel and gas vehicle systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics

• Skilled in troubleshooting and using hand/power tools

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

• Monday–Saturday schedule - Split Days Off: Sunday + a choice of Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, with occasional evenings/weekends/holidays
