We are seeking a Landscape Construction Production Coordinator to provide effective administrative, communication, and data-driven support to our Landscape Construction Department (LCD) and Snow/Ice Control Department in Germantown, WI. Responsibilities
- Provide overall administrative support to the Landscape Construction and Snow/Ice Control Departments.
- Assist the LCD Production Manager and Nursery Manager in researching and ordering construction materials (concrete, keystone, brick, etc.).
- Assist with registration and licensing of company vehicles.
- Ability to work closely with groups of people, including company employees at all levels, suppliers, and other outside professionals who the company engages with on a regular basis.
- Inventory related responsibilities include keying in of plant, lighting, hard goods, interiors, and irrigation materials.
- Utilize technology/computers to enhance the LCD Production Coordinator function and make information more readily available to management.
- Coordinate snow program with Snow/Ice Control Manager including dispatch, snow books, routes, and plan the annual snow meeting.
- On occasion - work the "snow desk" on evenings/weekends during heavier snow sequence events (November through April).
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in an administrative role (four years or more experience preferred).
- Construction or landscape background is beneficial.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to learn computer software tools.
- Experience in ViewPoint Vista software is desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel and Access.
- Solution-driven problem-solving abilities.
- Process improvement oriented.
- Values updated documentation of work procedures.
- "Digger’s Hotline" safety training certification or ability to achieve.
- Bilingual - proficient/fluent in Spanish is beneficial but not required
