Schaeffer Manufacturing is looking for Assembly Line Associates for our Du Quoin, IL packaging facility.

Job description-Position
- Learn and perform duties related to packaging of petroleum-based lubricants (oil and grease), such as:
- operating various production equipment such as labelers, fillers, and packagers
- maintaining an established system of records of production
- minor troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment failure
- Follow safety standards related to the position, i.e. Lock out/tag out, fall protection, hot work, etc.
Requirements
- Prefer high school diploma or GED
- Safety sensitive position: requiring focus, dexterity, and coordination at all times.
- A team player – willing to help wherever needed, able and willing to follow instructions from management.
- Must have reliable transportation and attendance.
- Prefer previous production experience.
- Prefer mechanical aptitude and detail orientation.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
