We are hiring for an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant for a top firm serving Fortune 500 clients out of their Cincinnati office! You will provide overall support to attorneys' and paralegals business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Prepare patent applications and prosecution documents i.e. amendments, responses etc.
- Experience with USPTO e-filing and PCT filings - both Domestic and Foreign
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Administrative Assistant within IP
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
