Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Commercial/Industrial Experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician with commercial and/or industrial experience to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems while ensuring all work meets applicable codes and safety standards. Candidates must be experienced in leading crews, managing field deliverables, and working in both local and travel-based assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose issues and complete necessary repairs or system upgrades.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and install wiring, lighting systems, fuse boxes, generators, and related components.
• Conduct operational testing of newly installed systems and devices.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, county, state, federal, NEC, legal, and insurance requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines, including required field documentation (photos, signed checklists, as-builts, etc.).
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to field staff as needed.
• Maintain professionalism in workmanship, customer relations, and team collaboration.
• Follow all project safety requirements and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active state-level Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required).
• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel (1–3 weeks at a time, as needed).
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Certified to operate boom and/or scissor lifts; comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI within the last three years).
• Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and pre-employment screening tests.
