Position Overview\n

We are seeking skilled Electrophysiology Technologists for a rewarding opportunity. This role involves working shifts that consist of four 10-hour days, beginning at 7:00 AM, with a weekly commitment of 40 hours. Additionally, this position includes a call requirement of one night per week and every third weekend.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide electrophysiology services across all relevant departments.
\n
• Assist in various procedures within the electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization lab.
\n
• Float across multiple Des Moines campuses to support like units as needed.
\n
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
\n
• Engage in collaboration with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Minimum of 24 months of recent experience in Electrophysiology.
\n
• Cardiac Cath lab experience is preferred.
\n
• Certification as RCIS or RCES is required.
\n
• Experience with remote travel assignments is a plus.
\n
• A valid driver’s license is required.
\n

\n\nProfessional Requirements\n

\n
• A comprehensive skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL is necessary.
\n
• Professional references must be provided, ideally from a charge, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months.
\n

\n\nWork Environment\n

This position may require working in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

\n\nHoliday Requirements\n

Employees may be required to work 1-2 of the three upcoming summer holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, unless the unit is closed.
