Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeons to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in New Mexico. What Were Seeking:
- Ability to perform general orthopedic procedures
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
- Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico

Practice Highlights: Albuquerque, NM
- Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with day administrative time, and block OR schedule.
- Ambulatory Surgical Center is conveniently located in the hospital, with lucrative investment opportunities for surgeons.
- Routine group call coverage
- The current daily clinic volume is 20-30 patients per day.
- 3 Exam rooms per physician
- Clinical support structure: 3 RNs, 2 orthopedic cast techs, in-house X-ray, dedicated MA w/ additional support if needed.
- Substantial Mid-Level support.
- System-Wide EPIC EMR
Clovis, NM
- Provide general orthopedic procedures
- Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with day administrative time, block OR schedule.
- Call is no more than 10 days per month.
- Current daily clinic volume is 15-20 patients per day.
- 3 Exam rooms per physician
- Clinical support structure: 1 RN Clinical Manager, 1 RN, 1 LPN and 2 MAs
- Outreach to local communities near Clovis, NM.
- System-Wide EPIC EMR
Espanola & Santa Fe, NM
- Provide general orthopedic procedures, preferred experience with anterior hip replacements
- Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with day administrative time, block OR schedule.
- Call is no more than 10 days per month.
- Current daily clinic volume is 15-20 patients per day.
- Outreach to local communities near Santa Fe, NM
- System-Wide EPIC EMR

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a not-for-profit organization, and many physician roles may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
Eligibility and loan forgiveness determinations are made solely by the federal program. - National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
Physicians practicing at eligible sites may qualify for federal student loan repayment through the NHSC program, offering up to $75,000 in tax free loan repayment for a two year service commitment at an approved site in a designated shortage area.
Participation is competitive and subject to federal approval and funding availability. - New Mexico Physician Tax Credit
Eligible physicians practicing in New Mexico may be eligible for a state income tax credit of up to $10,000 per year, based on program requirements. Eligibility and certification are determined by the State of New Mexico. - New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
Physicians practicing in designated shortage areas may be eligible for state funded student loan repayment, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment. Participation is competitive and subject to state approval and funding availability. - New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship
New Mexico residents may be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship, which can cover up to 100% of tuition and required fees for those pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelors degree at a New Mexico public college or university.
The program is available to both recent graduates and returning adult learners who meet eligibility requirements. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the State of New Mexico and participating institutions. - Retirement Benefits
