**EPIC CONVERSION ASSIGNMENT
\n Patient Age Group: Adult and Geriatric Cardiac Patients
\n Number of Beds: 4 Cath Labs / 1 Structural Heart Lab
\n Ratios:
\n Cath Team: 1 RN / 2 CVTs
\n Call Team & TAVR Team: 2 RNs / 2 CVTs
\n Minimum Experience: 5 years Cath Lab experience
\n Ventilators: May assist with ventilated patients during interventional and structural heart procedures
\n Drips/Machine Experience:
\n Impella
\n Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
\n Hemodynamic monitoring equipment
\n Structural Heart/TAVR equipment
\n Shockwave Intravascular Lithotripsy
\n Penumbra thrombectomy system
\n Avigo imaging system
\n OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
\n Common Diagnoses:
\n Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
\n Acute Myocardial Infarction (STEMI/NSTEMI)
\n Cardiogenic Shock
\n Peripheral Vascular Disease
\n Structural Heart Disease (TAVR, valve interventions)
\n Complex PCI patients
\n Required Certs:
\n RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
\n Technology:
\n XPER EMR/Documentation System
\n Complex PCI experience required
\n Structural Heart experience required
\n Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Penumbra, Avigo, and OCT experience required
\n Float/On-Call Requirements:
\n Float to EP Lab if qualified/able
\n On-call required: 4–5 days per month, including weekends
\n Expected to stay until all scheduled cases are completed
\n Orientation Frequency: Weekly
\n RTO/Shift/Scheduling Restrictions:
\n Contract Length: 6 weeks
\n Start Date: 09/21/2026
\n Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (0700–1930)
\n Guaranteed Hours: Yes
\n No RTO approved during assignment
\n No block scheduling allowed
\n Scrub Color: Maroon
\n No assigned stay-late shifts, but staff are expected to remain until cases are finished.
