Maintenance Assistant - Assisted Living Facility

Pineapple House at Sapphire Lakes in Naples, Florida, is dedicated to providing a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team full-time. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents while working in a supportive and community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep

- Conduct inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events or resident activities

- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all maintenance areas

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred

- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus
