At Composite Resources (Rock Hill, SC), you’ll help create complex composite parts and tooling that power aerospace, defense, and other critical sectors. Your impact- Set up and execute CNC operations on 3- and 5-axis vertical and horizontal mills to produce carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other composite components.
- Follow internal processes and required documentation (drawings, specifications, travelers) to run machines correctly and safely.
- Translate travelers/blueprints/sketches into precision parts that meet demanding quality targets.
- Inspect and verify features with calipers, micrometers, and indicators; adjust as needed to meet specifications.
- Engineer fixturing solutions and rethink methods—there is no one-size-fits-all approach to these builds.
- Skilled Trade/Technical Certification preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on CNC manufacturing experience.
- Confidence reading blueprints and technical documents.
- Track record of continuous improvement and thoughtful modification to enhance product and process.
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a complex, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with inspection gaging.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
- Math competency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Common-sense approach to following written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions.
- CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)
- CNC Lathe (5+ axis)
