Inventory Control Clerk

Position Overview Now Hiring! Inventory Control ClerkLocation: Lockport, IL 60441Schedule: Full Time; Onsite What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of the stockroom; maintain a clean and organized space; be responsible for all material coming into or going out of the stockroom.
• Pull kits for jobs; notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Verify part number and quantity of incoming materials; inspect if required; input accurate receipt data to ERP system to ensure inventory integrity.
• Perform physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.
• Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
• Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to use (or learn to use) weight scales and reel counters.
• Ability to use (or learn to use) calipers and micrometers and other measuring devices.
• Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
• Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills.
• Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
• Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player.
• Ability to meet quality expectations and follow safety guidelines.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma, GED, and/or technical diploma and/or military technical training.
• Minimum 1-3 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Experience using ERP software a plus (SAP preferred).

Physical Requirements:

• Good vision.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift 30 pounds.
• Ability to use step stools or ladders.

Pay RangeUSD $19.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
