Physician Pathology-Cytopathology - Competitive Salary

Pathlink is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cytopathologist to join our team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic interpretation of cytology specimens and collaborate closely with clinicians to support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and interpret cytology specimens including gynecologic and non-gynecologic samples.

• Perform adequacy assessments for fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures when required.

• Render accurate and timely diagnostic reports.

• Correlate cytologic findings with clinical and histologic data.

• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

• Communicate results and consult with referring physicians as needed.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and/or Cytopathology.

• Active NJ state medical license.

• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
