HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina.

- Primary assignment will be in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). \t
- Nurses may be required to float to IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) and Medical-Surgical units based on patient census and staffing needs. \t
- Floating is mandatory and candidates must be comfortable working in these areas.
- \t
- Standard ICU patient ratio is generally 1 nurse : 2 patients. \t
- Ratios may vary when floating to other units. \t
- While pediatric patients are not frequently admitted, the facility does not automatically transfer them elsewhere, so nurses must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients.

- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience. \t
- Strong experience with ventilator (vent) management is required. \t
- Previous experience working with critically ill patients is essential. \t
- Must have EPIC EMR/charting experience.

- Active North Carolina RN License OR \t
- Active Multistate Compact RN License \t
- License must be valid at the time of submission.
