Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Start Date: ASAP (Required)

Schedule\n

\n
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
\n
• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
\n
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
\n

Minimum Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
\n
• Active North Carolina RN license or Multistate Compact License required at the time of submission
\n
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Must be willing to float as needed
\n

Required Certifications\n

\n
• BLS
\n
• ACLS
\n
• NIHSS
\n
• PALS
\n

Unit & Floating\n

\n
• Home unit: ICU
\n
• Floating required to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Medical-Surgical units based on patient volume.
\n
• ICU Patient Ratio: 1:2 (may vary when floating)
\n

Required Skills\n

\n
• Ventilator management experience
\n
• Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients if needed. Pediatric ICU admissions are uncommon, but patients are not routinely redirected.
\n

Dress Code\n

\n
• All White or All Navy scrubs
\n

Local Traveler Policy\n

\n
• Local candidates living within 40 miles of the facility are not eligible.
\n
• A valid driver's license must be provided for address verification before an offer can be extended.
\n
