Travel PCU RN | Night Shift | Montana | 13 Weeks

\n 📍 Location: Montana
\n 📅 Start Date: ASAP
\n 🕒 Shift: Night Shift
\n 📆 Contract: 13 Weeks

\n Join a dynamic Progressive Care Unit caring for hemodynamically stable and predictably unstable patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU-level care. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced PCU/Stepdown RNs comfortable managing a wide variety of medical and post-operative patients.

\n Requirements:
\n Active Montana RN License and Minimum 3yr of PCU experience required
\n BLS (AHA)
\n ACLS
\n PALS
\n ENPC and TNCC preferred
\n PCU/Stepdown experience
\n Patient Population
\n CHF, COPD, DKA, Sepsis
\n Renal Failure
\n DVT / Pulmonary Embolism
\n Post-PCI and Pacemaker Patients
\n Post-Heart Catheterization
\n Thoracotomy
\n Carotid Endarterectomy
\n Post-Op Vascular & General Surgery Patients
\n Skills Required
\n Cardiac telemetry and basic EKG interpretation
\n Care of central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, and multiple IV infusions
\n Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and stable ventilator patients
\n Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
\n Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
\n Medication Experience

\n Experience managing common IV medications including:

\n Heparin
\n Diltiazem
\n Amiodarone
\n Lasix/Bumex
\n Dobutamine (non-titratable)
\n Dopamine (non-titratable)
