Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I performs routine nuclear medicine procedures under supervision. Operates imaging equipment and ensures patient safety.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required. Bachelors Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: No experience required; one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
