Position Summary:
The High-Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating high-reach and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, stack, and organize materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This role supports efficient inventory management and ensures compliance with company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate high-reach and stand-up forklifts to store and retrieve pallets from elevated racking systems.
• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ensure proper product placement to prevent damage and maintain organization.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and staging orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a high-reach or stand-up forklift.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
