American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of travel experience, with telemetry and critical care background.
Details\n- \n
- Intermediate Care Unit (IMC/PCU) in a hospital setting with 24 staffed beds and an average daily census of 24 \n
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM \n
- Telemetry and critical care patient population \n
- Charting performed in Epic \n
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius \n
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated \n
- \n
- Active OK or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted) \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry certification, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience \n
- Current critical care and telemetry nursing experience required \n
- Valid Driver's License or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the candidate's name with matching address from the last 3 months required for consideration \n
- 2 supervisory references required for consideration \n
- Copies of certifications required for consideration \n

- Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted \n
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date RTO requests will be accepted \n
- Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible \n
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — at least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience is required \n
