Position Title: Medical Assistant

Work Environment: Open workstation & clinical area

Dress Code: Scrubs (Preferably Navy Blue)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, injection experience, and the ability to accurately document patient information.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services in a clinical environment
• Perform phlebotomy procedures
• Administer IM and subcutaneous injections
• Measure and record accurate blood pressure readings
• Interview patients and obtain complete medical histories
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Distribute prescribed medications as directed
• Use HMS (Health Management System) and Microsoft Office
• Ensure compliance with clinical safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff

Required Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Experience in phlebotomy and administering injections
• Strong documentation skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a clinical/open workstation environment
