- Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately.
- Assist clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
- Maintain compliance with medical documentation standards and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families and other team members to provide consistent support and feedback.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in special education and behavior analysis.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients during sessions.
Ideal candidates will possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Special education practices and methodologies.
- Applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Data collection methods relevant to behavioral interventions.
- Working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and recordkeeping practices related to client care.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
