Experienced Handyman - Full-time

We are a single-source service company headquartered in Sacramento, providing painting, plumbing, electrical and lighting, landscaping and general building maintenance services to commercial properties in Northern California.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Perform skilled labor tasks as assigned.  Examples include:

• Wood framing, rough and finish
• Drywall installation and finishing
• Concrete preparation, pour and finishing
• Welding
• Flooring installation (LVT, VCT, laminate, carpet, tile, etc.)
• Demonstrate the ability to estimate and provide timely quote information to customers.
• Minor Plumbing and Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Additional on the job training will be provided to improve skill sets in other trades.
• Follow all mandated safety programs, procedures, and operations.
• Perform other maintenance related duties as necessary.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• Fluent in speaking and writing English
• Must be Mechanically Inclined
• Average skills related to Microsoft computer software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, Explorer, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of best practices related to general maintenance service trades.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial building systems and construction.
• Effective time management and logical decision making ability.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• The ability to perform the primary job responsibilities at the highest caliber maximizing results.
• The ability to work well individually or with others by serving them the way you would want to be served.
• The ability to properly assess service requirements to meet or exceed the customers' expectations.
• The ability to follow directions whether written or spoken in English.
• Ability to adapt in a fast environment and embrace change openly.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Attend all safety training and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 5+ years minimum work experience working in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Related experience must include familiarity with other trades and general building maintenance practices as required in a commercial, industrial and residential real estate setting.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must pass both federal and/or customer required background checks.
• Must pass customer required drug screenings.
• Must be a US Citizen.
