The National Sales Trainer will facilitate the training of our Membership Sales Managers. The Trainer will collaborate with the Learning & Development team and other stakeholders to deliver essential training and support related to professional development and sales topics. This role will focus on empowering our sales team to excel in prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals, overcoming objections, and negotiating effectively.
Responsibilities:
- The National Sales Trainer facilitates training for Membership Sales Managers, focusing on prospecting, qualifying, closing deals, objection handling, and negotiation.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to peers and leaders, emphasizing sales and professional development.
- The National Sales Trainer collaborates with leaders and HR Business Partners to set individual goals and action plans.
- Plan, implement, and deliver employee and member education and training programs, prioritizing sales and professional development.
- The National Sales Trainer administers various training methods, including in-person sessions, web-based courses, and training videos/libraries.
- Design and implement sales enablement tools and resources in partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Track trainees' progress, evaluate training effectiveness, and conduct needs assessments.
- The National Sales Trainer orients new hires and assist in designing training manuals, materials, and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Recommend improvements to enhance productivity and build member relationships.
- Serve as a role model for the company's core values and professional behavior.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of professional development and sales experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in various training methods, including online learning.
- Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software applications.
- Moderate travel (40% of the time) required for in-person training.
